Questions

1. Do I need to be a Druva customer to create a developer Sandbox account?

No, you do not need to be an active Druva customer. Independent software vendors (ISVs), partners, and developers can sign up to build integrations. You only need a valid business email address to proceed.

2. Is the Sandbox account free of charge?

Yes, the Developer Sandbox account is free of charge. It is designed to facilitate development and comes with limited storage capacity for testing purposes. The account is valid for one year from the date of activation and can be extended before it expires.

3. Is there any support available?

Yes. Developers have access to Druva’s API, developer guides along with the Developer Support and security team to assist with technical queries, architecture validation, and troubleshooting during the build and submission process.

Contact Details:

Marketplace Support: integrations-team@druva.com

4. After app listing, how are apps consumed, shared with partners, and where are users managed?

  • Consumption: Once an app is approved and listed on the Druva Marketplace, customers can browse, authorize, and install the app directly from the Marketplace portal.

  • Partner Distribution: If you build a private app or wish to distribute it to specific partners without a public listing, you can securely share it by provisioning specific API credentials (Client ID/Secret).

  • User Management: Test users, roles, and API credentials are created and managed directly within your Sandbox environment's administrative console during the development phase.
