Problem Description:
Oracle PBS backup jobs are failing with an error indicating that there is not enough space on the disk. This prevents RMAN from completing the backup process successfully.
Cause:
The failure is due to insufficient disk space on the target mount path where the backup files are being written. When the disk runs out of space, RMAN is unable to write the backup data, resulting in a job failure.

O/S-Error: (OS 112) There is not enough space on the disk.
Resolution:
Verify Disk Usage:
Check the available space on the mount path mentioned in the error log.
Use system tools (e.g., df -h on Linux or checking drive properties on Windows) to confirm disk utilization.
Free Up Space or Expand Storage:
Delete unnecessary files or move older backups to another location.
Alternatively, request the storage/Oracle team to increase the available space on the affected mount path.
Retry the Backup:
Once sufficient space is available, re-initiate the backup job.
Monitor the job to ensure it completes successfully.
