How to delete an unconfigured SQL server from the Druva Management Console

Updated this week

Overview

An unconfigured SQL server implies that the Druva agent is installed on the server but the server is not configured for backup. The unconfigured server is listed under Protect >> MS SQL > Registered Servers.

You can delete an unconfigured server from the Druva Management Console in case the server is decommissioned or was used for testing the Druva products.

Steps to delete the SQL server from the Druva Management Console

  1. Log in to the Druva Management Console, click the drop down of All Organizations, and select the required organization from the list.

  2. Click Protect -> MSSQL -> Registered Servers

  3. Select the Unconfigured Server

  4. Click on the ellipsis (the Three dots) -> Delete

  5. Provide confirmation by clicking on “Yes, Delete”

Verification:

  • Refresh the console to check if the server is now deleted.
