Druva generates jobs for all the UI-triggered, scheduled, and maintenance Oracle activities performed on the Management Console. Druva associates each job with a unique job identification number (Job ID). The jobs are listed on the AllJobs page. A job can hold a specific status during its lifetime. You can track the progress of a job by viewing the progress log.

The All Jobs page lists all the backup, restore, defreeze, and log requests jobs that Druva is performing, or performed for Oracle databases.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Management Console.

  2. Click Oracle > Phoenix Backup Store from the Protect menu. Note that if the All Organizations menu is enabled, you have to first select an organization where the Phoenix Backup Store is registered and then click Oracle > Phoenix Backup Store.
The Phoenix Backup Stores page appears.

  3. In the left pane, click the All Jobs tab. The All Jobs page appears.

  4. In the Job ID column, click the required Job ID.

Job Filters

The All Jobs page provides filters, such as Job Type, Status, and Started In, that allow you to filter your jobs. The job filters list the jobs based on their types, statuses, and the time frames they are started in. After applying filters, you can click individual jobs to view the job statistics. The job statistics provide additional information about the backup and restore jobs, for example, data estimation, network I/O throughput, and other such backup and restore details, which aid in troubleshooting backup performance issues.

The All Jobs page displays the following filters on the top-right corner.

Job Type

The Job Type filter provides the following three options to list jobs based on the type of job:

  • Backup

  • Restore

  • Defreeze

  • Log Request

πŸ“ Note
The Log Request jobs do not display progress log.

Job Status

The Status filter allows you to filter jobs based on their statuses.

  • Queued: The triggered jobs that are waiting to be processed.

  • Running: The jobs that are being processed. During backup job for an Oracle database, one of the following statuses is displayed:

    • The estimated data to be backed up and the total number of files scanned is displayed.

    • After the estimation is completed, the percentage of data uploaded to the cloud is displayed.

  • Successful: The jobs processed without any errors.

  • Failed: The jobs that were not processed successfully.

    πŸ“ Note
A failed job is displayed with an error code. Hover on the error code to view the error message. The error code hyperlink redirects to the exact error message description on the documentation portal.

  • Cancelled: The jobs that were canceled.

  • Waiting for retry: The jobs that failed in the previous attempt and waiting to be processed again.

  • Skipped: The jobs that did not start within the scheduled window because another job is in progress.

  • Scanning: The jobs that are still being scanned.

  • Scan failed: The jobs for which the scan has failed.

Started In

The Started In filter allows you to filter jobs based on their time frame they are initiated. The filter provides the following options.

  • Last 24 hours

  • Last 7 days

  • Last 1 month

  • Custom Date

πŸ“ Note

  • Use the Reset option to clear the filters.

  • You can choose a specific date range.

Cancel a job

This topic provides instructions for canceling a job. When you cancel a job that is in the running state, the Hybrid Workloads agent cancels the RMAN job.

Procedure

  1. On the All Jobs page, select the ongoing backup, restore, defreeze, or the log request job that you want to cancel, and click Cancel Job.

  2. Click Yes on the confirmation message displayed.

Customize table columns

You can customize the table columns using the Customize Table Columns icon.

This will give a list of the columns on that page. You can display a particular column, hide unnecessary columns to make the UI more spacious, and move a column to reorder the table.

Note: The column configuration persists across sessions in the same browser.
