Disable offline access through Druva Mobile App

Using Druva Mobile App, inSync users can tag files as Favorites. They can download these files and view them without an internet connection. As an administrator, you can disable office access to such files.

โ€‹ You can disable user access to offline files by using Druva Mobile App through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.


To disable offline access

  1. On the Endpoints console, click Profiles.

  2. Click the profile for which you want to disable offline access to files by using Druva Mobile App.

  3. Click the Endpoints tab > Edit > Endpoints. The Edit Profile window appears. Navigate to Data Loss Prevention > DLP for Smartphones and Tablets section.

  4. Click to clear the Allow offline access to files (Favorites in share) check box.

  5. Click Save.

Prevent other apps from accessing content on Druva Mobile App

Using Druva Mobile App, inSync users can use third-party apps to open files on their iPhones. As an administrator, you can prevent other third-party apps from accessing content in Druva Mobile App.

โ€‹ You can prevent other apps from accessing content on Druva Mobile App through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.


To prevent other apps from accessing inSync content

  1. On the Endpoints console, click Profiles.

  2. Click the link of the profile for which you want to prevent other apps from accessing inSync content.

  3. Click the Endpoints tab > Edit > Endpoints. The Edit Profile window appears. Navigate to Data Loss Prevention > DLP for Smartphones and Tablets section.

  4. Click to clear the Allowother iOS apps to access inSync content check-box.

  5. Click Save.๏ปฟ
