This article describes the Azure SQL restore workflow.

Step 1 | The Scheduler triggers the restore job per the backup policy schedule. | Druva AWS Cloud |
Step 2 | The restore job requests a VM from VM orchestration. | Druva AWS Cloud |
Step 3 | Job orchestration requests the creation of a VM in the customer’s Azure Environment. Note: The VM gets created in the customer’s Azure environment in the following format:

Step 4 | Data is downloaded from the Storage service and transferred to the transient Blob storage. | Druva AWS Cloud |
