File-level search and restore

Druva allows you to restore individual files and folders from backups of file servers and NAS. You can restore granular data to the original location or an alternate location. You can use advanced filters to search for specific files and folders, file types, or files modified during a particular time frame. You need not browse through all the backed-up data to retrieve the information that you need.

Restore file attributes

Druva captures file attributes along with backup content. The captured attributes are available for restores. For Windows servers, Druva backs up ACLs, read-only and hidden attributes, and non-indexed content. For Linux servers, Druva backs up file permissions for file owners, groups, and users.

APIs for file server

Integrate your applications with Druva using Druva APIs for file server. You can use the extensive product functionality that these APIs expose for automating and reporting workflows either via third-party integrations or via stand-alone REST API calls.

Pre and post scripts

Customize your file server backup solution for scenarios where you want to perform certain tasks before or after backups. Use the scripts to start or stop services, quiesce applications or backup data generated via a script.

Global content rules

Content rules define the folders, subfolders, and file types that you want to include or exclude from your backups. Once you define a content rule, you can attach it to one or more servers and quickly configure servers with similar data for backups.

Customizable content for backup

Customize the content that you want to back up. Choose from a pre-existing content rule, or create a new one. Browse for folders and subfolders that you want to backup. Include and Exclude default file types or enter your own.

Backup granularity for the complete drive or folder level

Be specific about the data that you backup. Select all folders in a directory, or include specific folders and file types within those folders for backup.
