Supported AHV versions

We support AHV as the underlying hypervisor. We support all Long Term Support (LTS) and Short Term Support (STS) releases for AOS versions 6.5, 6.7, and 6.8. We do not support the Community Edition (CE) releases.

Supported Guest Operating Systems

We support all guest operating systems supported by Nutanix. For more information, see the Nutanix Compatibility Matrix.

We do not support the following disk types:

CDROM (the contents of CDROM aren’t backed up)
VMs containing volume groups (VG) Disks
